Longos MusicTools-Privacy Policy

Longos MusicKit values your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Longos MusicTools does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
We do not:

  • Collect names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Track user activity or behavior
  • Use analytics or advertising frameworks
  • Share data with third parties

All features — including the tuner, metronome, tone generator, scale & chord tools, practice timer, and setlist manager — function entirely on your device. Your information stays private.

2. Device Permissions

Some tools may request limited permissions solely for functionality:

  • Microphone Access: Used only for tuner features to analyze pitch in real time. Audio input is processed locally and never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
3. Data Security

Because no personal or usage data is collected or transmitted, there is no data stored on external servers. All app data remains securely stored on your device under Apple’s system-level protections.

4. Third-Party Services

Longos MusicTools does not use any third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking SDKs.

5. Children’s Privacy

Longos MusicTools is safe for all ages and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The app collects no data from any users, including those under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.

Longos MusicTools –Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Longos MusicKit mobile application (“App”), owned and operated by Longos Creations (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written permission.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, text, sounds, and code contained within Longos MusicKit are the exclusive property of Longos Creations.
All rights reserved. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

3. No Warranty / “As Is” Disclaimer

The App and all related services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements, operate without interruption, be error-free, or that any errors will be corrected.

You understand and agree that you use the App at your own risk.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Longos Creations and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits or data
  • Device malfunction
  • Hearing damage or performance injury
  • Business interruption
    arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. Refunds

All purchases of Longos MusicTools are processed through the Apple App Store.
As such, all refund requests are governed exclusively by Apple’s App Store policies.
We do not issue direct refunds, returns, or exchanges.
Users seeking refunds must contact Apple Support directly.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
  • Use the App for unlawful, commercial, or malicious purposes.
  • Circumvent any security or licensing features.
  • Distribute modified or pirated versions of the App.
7. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the App itself at any time without notice.
We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of any revised Terms.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Longos Creations, its affiliates, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you will immediately cease.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
